Thank you for coming to share the sermon with me today.

I am a Gnostic.
A seeker of the truth within.
I love God.
It doesn’t matter to God who loves
as long as there is love.

I welcome you all with open arms to the sermon this morning.
As our wonderful founder of Novus Spiritus Sylvia Browne Says

At Novus we like to pray with our feet flat on the floor, palms upward on your lap to receive grace from God.

Let us began with the OPENING PRAYER From (The Society of Novus Spiritus)

Dear Mother and Father God
Please bless our efforts in this renewed religion.
Let this New Spirit of enlightenment rinse out all guilt and fear.
We come to You God, knowing that You Know our name.
Knowing that You know our hearts, minds and souls.
We want to learn our lessons so that we can make the journey of life easier
So that we can perfect faster than we have throughout all our lives.
From this moment on we will love ourselves and others;
And let Your Supreme Love light the lamp of our souls.
We will be embued with love and judgment of will to get us on track
And keep us on our perfection scheme.
We will truly be a light in a lonely desert that enlightens many. AMEN

Loving Gods Creation:

I would like for us to think about this today!

Loving Gods Creation,

You know I look at the wonderful beauties of this world.
Such as the wonderful trees, flowers, the puffy clouds in the sky.
Watching children playing or sleeping.
There are so many wonderful things that God created.
All the animals, they are so cute and precious, watching the play and grow.
I love to plant a garden and watch it grow.
I am so proud of the fruits and vegetables that come from my work.
I think we all marvel at Gods creation.
How perfect the colors are.
All the wonders of the world.
How perfect they are in their creation.

There is one thing that we find fault with that is Gods creation!

That is ourselves!

Why is that I wonder?
We are Gods creation!
Matter of fact….
we are the precious of Gods creations.
Why is it so hard for us to love ourselves?
Was it because of the way we were raised?

When did we stop loving ourselves?

Have you ever just thought of how much time we spend with negative emotions just for one day?

Well, lets do that right now.

Negative emotions:
Fear
Greed
Jealousy
Vengefulness
Hate
Selfishness
to name a few.

Now think how many of these and other negative emotions come into play in your day.

How much time do we spend with them per day?

Maybe this is why we stopped loving ourselves.
We are Gods Creation!
We carry Gods unique essence within our souls.
We are the temple of God.
Why are we putting all those negative emotions on top of God? Within ourselves?

We have an all loving God.
God can not be fear, or be vengeful.

Think about it.

If we have a fearful or vengeful God,
God would not longer be all loving
.
When we bring these negative emotions on God we are creating a FALSE GOD!

We are bring darkness within ourselves.

It is like opening the door and hanging a sign…

DARKNESS FAMILY REUNION GOING ON INSIDE! All darkness invited,
B.Y.O.N.E (bring your own negative emotion.)

It is simple to get rid of this negativity! For negative emotions are man made. All of them. For God can not be negative.

God is good and created good. Man created the duality of good. Negative.

All one has to do to rid themselves of darkness is to bring more light within..
A simple smile releases that light!
Doing kind acts to others and yourself.
Give all those negatives to God.
In doing so God will make them disolve. For all is good within God.

Tell God ”I can not deal with this any longer take it away from me”.
Then throw up those tools of protection around yourself.
Mirrors so that everything that is directed towards you will reflect back to the person sending it out.
Put The white of the holy spirit around you which is Gods love.

Lets get Back to our worst enemy: our selves.
How many times do we say negative things to ourselves?


I’m too fat
I’m too skinny
My hair is ugly
I am stupid
I cant do this
My ears are too big….whatever!

We are not loving our selves when we talk like this.
What does that do.
Our conscious mind is sending that message to our subconscious mind. that you are fat…to skinny etc…and you know the job of the subconscious mind is to carry out what the conscious mind is saying.

Let us say
I amgoing to losing weight.
Soon I will be a perfect size.
I am an intelligent person
I have a spark of the Divine which is intellect.
I am a creator,
I am made in Gods image.
I will create my heaven here on earth.
I will create all positive thoughts.
I will create success for myself.
I will image my self in the likeness of God.
I will love myself, for I am Gods creation.


Don’t confuse the true EGO I am with the false ego.
A false ego is an ego that brings satisfaction to you through causeing harm to others.

Here is an affirmation of Sylvia’s I say every morning!

I am a happy loving person
I carry Gods unique essence within my soul
Every action I do today will be for others as well as my self.

Let us say the HEALING PRAYER From (The Society of Novus Spiritus)
FOR THOSE IN NEED

Dear Father and Mother God,
We are all gathered here to love You and to receive Your blessing and healing energies. We ask that You send Your everlasting energy to heal all who are in need today, using the healing force that You - as our omnipotent parents - can provide. Send us all the power and force of Your energy and love to heal us all - to sustain us all in our everyday lives, so that we can continue to experience for You. Help us to remain examples of Your love, and guide us back to You if we ever go astray from our chosen paths.
Loving Mother and Father,
Help all of our guides to channel Your energy and the energy of the Archetypes that surround this gathering in Your name - so that the energy sent is received fully and completely in each and every one of us. For those loved ones that are unable to gather with us today, we also ask that You send
them Your healing energy and love - so that any malady, whether it be mental or physical, be completely healed and eliminated.
We ask for this in Your name, Mother and Father - the name of God.

THE CLOSING PRAYER From (The Society of Novus Spiritus)

Dear Father and Mother God,
Let Your Infusion and Grace encompass each and every one of us.
Let it last throughout our lives,
Until we are joined with You and each other, on the Other Side.
Let us not feel alone or sick.
We ask for the Holy Spirit's Healing Grace
To enter every cell of this vehicle we call the body.
Let us link our souls like a giant shaft of Light that will appear
For everyone in need.
May the Word, the Spirit, and the Grace be with you.
In the name of the Holy Spirit. AMEN.
