Well, i think i should make the official "why is this forum here" post...

Okay, as some of you know, i'm adam_1982 from gosylviabrowne.com's forum, and i haven't been on there for a little while now. it wasn't anything personal towards heather or anyone else, it was just an issue of time and the direciton the conversations were taking on there. not that i'm making any judgments, it was just something i didn't feel i comfortable at times with. and after my short absence, i had made up my mind that i would return to the forum, because i missed talking to so many of you. but to my surprise, when i tried to visit the forum, it was shut down. (And NO, i don't know why...and i truly hope everything is okay with Heather!!!) after talking to Jennifer about it, i felt compelled to create a new place for us to continue what so many of us began...building and nurturing spiritual connections with one another through friendship and our common beliefs in God, Sylvia, and everything else that we have come to cherish. so, by taking a BIG step here, i decided that i would create a forum with the basic principle that we have all heard Sylvia state many times, that "she would love to have a 'place' [church] where all religions and spiritual beliefs could come together, and enjoy friendship and learning together." and that is the basic foundation of this forum! not that i'm saying anything negative or bad towards Heather, because i still care about her, and not for one second do i think that by creating this forum, i am trying to out-do her in any way!!! it's just a means to keep us together, and make a safe haven that we can escape to, when we need love, support, and encouragement!

and, i know that this question will eventually be asked, "what if i decide to shut this forum down?" well, in short, unless i am instructed to do so by Novus or Sylvia's office, or there is a major issue of disrespect and malicious intent between the members, i WILL NOT shut this forum down. and since we're all adults, i don't see any reason why that should happen.

so, with all that being said..."WELCOME TO THE NEW HOME OF SYLVIA BROWNE STUDENTS, FRIENDS, AND EVERYONE ELSE!!!"

Just wanted to thank you again. Doing something like this takes time and effort and love for God and what we all believe in. Of course we are all human and have our own feelings but.. as you say we are all adults and should behave as such. I personally thought there were too many chiefs on GSB and not enough Indians... I mean.. too many moderators... I understand its difficult.. but if you have moderators.. and they seem to think someone is doing or saying something that should not be addressed or addressed in a different way then they should come discuss it with you before taking it upon themselves to take action. I saw alot of people on GSB that thought they had a closer connection to Heather or Sylvia then others and should have more imput.. but see we are all equal in Gods eyes and are all equal when we are Home.. so why shouldnt we all be equal here? Of course we should and I think thats why things got out of control on GSB... just my opinion mind you lol...
I am happy you have started this site. I would like to say I like the way you have included all aspects of religion.. You might have a conflict with Novus about the study group spot.. ?? just a thought. Other then that I dont see why Novus would have a problem with it at all. I got on the GSB site late and I am really glad to have the opportunity to be on this site early on. Maybe I can keep up now lol... I had so many things happen in my personal life that I have not been able to get online that much and when I have been able to I have been in such a hurry to check a long list of emails or to answer IMS. that I didnt find time to go anywhere else. I have moved since though and finally have things straightening out in my life.. plus.. I have all of you who help me stay on track and I appreciate that so much..
