Quote from a Guru
This is a quote from Paramahansa Yogananda...I find it uplifting and encouraging.
" For every man who retraces his steps to find God, there is a great celebration among the angels. They actually appear and receive that returning soul in great joy."
Hugs

Re: Quote from a Guru
That was wonderful thank you for sharing with us.
I too have something to share that I heard from Eckhart Tolle.
There was two monks
There was also a woman
She wanted to cross the road but
there was water and she didnt want to
walk in the water.
One monk picked her up and carried her across
the road so that she would not have to walk
in the water. Once on the other side of the road
the monk let her down, she went on her way.
The two monks continued to walk, then
The other monk said to the one that carried the woman,
I don't think that you should of carried that woman. "We as
Monks" should not have contact with women.
The monk that carried the woman said to the other.
"I put that woman down after crossing the street
WHY ARE YOU STILL CARRYING HER?"
What this is referring to is why are you carrying around that burden or worries with you. Put the down and walk away.

Re: Quote from a Guru
there was a guru and his aide was getting on a train and the train was moving, the guru dropped one of his sandles off his foot, in a hurry he kicked off the other. The aide had noticed what the guru done and asked WHY DID YOU KICK OFF YOUR OTHER SANDLE, the Guru said "NOW WHOM EVER FINDS IT WILL HAVE A PAIR".

Re: Quote from a Guru
If someone hurts you deeply, you remember it. But instead of concentrating on that, you should think of all the good things about the person who has hurt you, and of all the goodness that you have in your life. Don't take notice of the insults people give you.
(Paramahansa Yogananda, Where there is Light, p.127)
(Be a Conqueror of Hearts, Mag. Fall 1996, p. 13f.)Do not take it too seriously if anyone says unkind things about you. Just give love in return. Whoever does not understand you, just look at that person with love in your eyes, love that is born of complete understanding, and you will see how that person changes.
(Mag. Fall 1975, p.8. )If someone behaves hurtfully towards you, think of the best ways to behave lovingly towards him.

HellooooOOO Psi
it is. yet, if we want if badly enough we will obtain it.
i surround myself with what i need to be able to help me stay in this consciousness
when we are able to get a glimpse of this consciousness....it is like sipping sweet, divine nectar ...once we get a taste we will keep coming back for more..until eventually...we sit down and park ouselves in front of this Flower
