Have you raised your children Gnostic? Again, please elaborate. Is this difficult for them? Were they originally raised with Christian beliefs and then had to change? Was this difficult? Do you require they believe in the Gnostic religion or do you present it to them and allow them to make their own choices?

If you don't have children maybe you have introduced Gnosticism to nieces, nephews, friends children. Perhaps you can answer the questions about those children.

What do you mean by not just Sylvia, do you read other Gnostic texts and such? Please share.

My daughter only knows Gnostic because I have tried to teach her as best I can. My hubby's family is not religious by any means and my mother in law likes to think she knows stuff about every religion so I just don't bring it up ...no winning that argument.
My daughter is 5 and has gone to a christian church a couple of times with my mom but it was never thrust on her.

Awesome Cathy, way to be flexible and understanding. I don't think there is anything wrong at all with going to a church, after all - to me, it only cements my own thoughts and how convoluted some people are taking the text of the Bible out of context and making it their own. But everyone has to make that choice and by allowing your daughter to be herself, you are being a fantastic mom. Good for you! Smile
