I Know This May Seem Petty...

But could ya'all say a small prayer for Gene and me? We went today to the bank to ask for a small business loan, and the loan officer absolutely LOVED our business plan and our idea for the book store. She was so excited, BUT unfortunately, there are proper channels that all of this has to go through, so we didn't get an answer today. The earilest we would get one would be tomorrow (late morning - early afternoon). So if you guys would say a little prayer for us to get approved, I would be VERY grateful!!!

Actually, we've been turned down by every bank and lending office in our town and in neighboring towns. Their reasoning is "It's too risky being a start-up company." which I understand.

However, I greatly appreciate all of your thoughts, prayers, and words of encouragement! Thank you!!

I am sending prayers but you also should go to the business assoc. of some sort and ask for a minority loan or even grant moneys. do some research. There are moneys out there that you do not have to pay back honey. SEEK AND YE SHALL RECIEVE. sending blessings

It is always important that something that you want to strive for and never give up on it.
Get a good business plan together. Show how you plan to make money and what the censes is of the people around the area that would use the store. churches etc....I mean goggle business plans I have a very good one if you need to ask questions. The bank said that we had the most impressive business plan she had every seen. lol not bragging we just worked on it for over 6months. hahhah. But I have my business now. though it is not making alot of money right now with this economy right now. Crazy. Having a business is hard work. I have 4 and it is tuff. lol good luck.
