A New Website Idea...

Okay, as some of you may know, I've recently finished making Gene's photo studio's website, and while I was making it, I thought to myself, "hmm....maybe I should make one about Sylvia and Gnosticism, and everything." So like all things that seem important to me, I took a few days, and toyed around with the idea, and with what I've come up with, this site would have information on all of the subjects here on the forum, and then some. BUT...there's a just a few issues with doing all of this, like all things.

1. I'm not an expert on all of the subjects mentioned here on the forum (ie. Reiki, meditation, healing, psychic abilities, etc.)

2. It's hard to find GOOD images of Sylvia, that aren't copyrighted by either her, the photographer, or Novus (and I don't wanna get into any trouble using a pic of her that I don't have the right to use!)

3. I would need a lot of support, as far as being "in the know" on a lot of things.


So, before I start anything, I guess I just wanna throw the idea out to ya'all, and see if it's something that you think that we should try?

AND, I welcome any and all thoughts, ideas, comments, suggestions, etc on what should be on the site! After all, it's gonna be a website about Sylvia and Gnosticism, and hopefully, maybe it will reach out and help us spread our light! Who knows, we might be able to help someone out there who's never even heard of Novus, Sylvia, or Gnosticism?

I think Adam means a separate website from this which people can go to for information not like the forum. It would have to state that this is not an "approved" site from Sylvia , Novus Spiritus nor linked to them in any way.

well actually, what i've come up with so far, is basically a website that offers the basic information on Gnostic Christianity, God, Sylvia, Psychic Abilities, Spirit Guides, Meditation, Healing, and other various aspects of our spiritual beliefs, while not bogging any visitors down with too much info at once. Besides, like the old saying, "you catch more flies with honey..." If we could help one person who would never consider Gnosticism before, simply by offering a brief snyposis of what it is, then isn't it worth it?

and if time and chart allow, it could possibly grow into something bigger. i mean, i would link the forum to it, so that others could find us, and bring the lights together.

I think one thing about linking it to the forum is that the kinda strange things might want to get in like the people who love to spoil things like the porn sites or people with the emails addresses with porn like names which get attached and cause the downfall of many sites. you know sent by people who want to bring things down. I know on the GSB site I saw some members who were just those sites in the member rolls. I don't want that to happen here. I know you guys are vigilant so that is not bound to happen. I think the site is a good idea though to give more light to those who might just come by and read. I think that is why Sylvia keeps such a tight control over what happens in her name. Hm an idea. Make a general site like you say. Have a forum on that site. We can keep this one as it is. I guess hmmm.. I know you can always ban the people who are not right for this site if they get in here and they are disruptive negative etc. well just go with it I know you have a feeling for making this available so make the site and watch the hits then you can introduce this forum. You will have to be doubly vigilant once you do that as you well know!

it's good thing I know something about deleting folks though I can find more enjoyable ways of spending my time.
