I'm So Excited...

and No Laughing!

But the other night, I came home from working 12 hours, and Gene surprised me with Dolly's new CD. (first, you gotta know that Gene isn't as "devoted" to Dolly as I am, which has led my sister and mother to ask several times, "are you sure he's gay?!?!")

so, i've been listening to it non-stop! i'm so glad that my Dolly's back! I'd love to go see her on her tour! And to see Cher in Las Vegas, although Gene's been saying since we've been together that he wants to go to Vegas. and now i'm like, "Hell Yeah! We're going to Vegas...the only place that has Sylvia and Cher! We're SO There!!"

although it would be interesting to see Sylvia and Cher on the same stage! could you just imagine Sylvia singing "If I Could Turn Back Time?" especially in one of Cher's outfits!?!?

Sorry...i got so off track here....new cd...that's all! LOL

A man being a Dolly Parton fan is not assurance that someone is or isn't gay..LOL
It's like saying all gay men love Cher which is not true either or Barbara Streisand.. If you remember in Steel Magnolias it was Track lighting..(yes a Dolly Parton movie no less which I love to death!)
Though I think it is funny your mom should say that.. For instance my husband tells me all the time I am not the decorating type.. he says I must have missed the gay decorating gene! I laugh of course and let him decorate because he is great at it.

I started to go there too with the Sylvia wearing Cher outfits.. OMG

But after having seen Azna wearing one of those sequined gowns I guess I am getting a head of this story.. Once when I was in Michigan and getting ready for work I needed a laugh. I forgot what I asked Azna but I was talking to her about something then the next thing I know I heard the "Shake your booty" song from the 70's and there she was in this sequined gown dancing very ladylike much like you see Mae West dressed and voluptuous and shaking it turning around to the music! Not like the booty shakin' dancers but more refined! I laughed but not because Azna was ridiculous in the outfit but to think that God would do it was a scream! and Yes She went there I could have never imagined that, it would have never crossed my mind you know how we have images of what God will or will not do.

Yes your man is gay and good for you too!
