Post a poem or Haiku.

Freedom of expression is welcome here, let loose your subcouncious thoughts and express yourself through poems, where mere words or sentences can never do in the abstract. Post any poems that you can come up with, its better that you post them right when you have them in your mind, before you forget them. Post a Haiku poem or any other poem you wish.

Ill share some I thought of last month. Haiku is first line 5 syllables, second line 7 syllables, last line 5.


My intentions dance,
my prayer greets me today,
I rest in God's light.

Hmm, another one.

Glee came to see me,
I then turned and looked around,
Grace visits without a sound.

well i thought i might repost this...

Well I don't know if it's any good, all I know is 'someone' wouldn't let me go to sleep until I wrote it down.
As Ro says -it doesn't have to be good, it just has to be real. maybe I will try haiku next ( get my daugter to help me )



If I were...

If I were to die tomorrow
What would you have to say?
Would there be any regrets
Some words to wish away?

If I were to die tomorrow
Would you miss the laughter, hugs and smiles?
Whether they were given in person
Or sent across the miles

If I were to die tomorrow
Maybe you'd miss my bitchy way
Of always finding what's not so good
In our world today

But If I were to die tomorrow
I know I will be okay
For my soul will go to The Other Side
And there I plan to stay!

If there's a message for all of us
To consider and to pray
We dont' know if we will die tomorrow
So we need to love each other today.

my feet have it another way

time to be spirit
plenty to organize

JOY to the WORLD

A poem

Torch Song,

Torch song, fire song,
bright song, ignite song,

Lets see us up there in the torch song,
lets ignite our souls and spirits in this bright song,

Lets lead the way to move to a brighter path,
lets move and look and light a brighter way,

I find this golden sight, I look at what is bright,
this glow shall move me to tears, and fill my day with light,

Im inspired with this fire, and it lifts my head up higher,
this golden song inspires, and it is what I so desire,

This prayer I hear, this silent song that steers me through my fears,
I look to God and listen, and its love I feel and hear.

You ignite my love, for which my soul speaks,
You are the fire in the fire of my heart for which I seek,

This gift if love is what I gain,
My spirit feels no pain,

Love Song, fire song,
Unending burning and life giver,

And always you warm my soul.
