Weekly Discussion: Book of Angels
Hey ya'all, I thought we could discuss the topic of Angels regarding the information found in Sylvia's books. In Book of Angels, there are 10 phylums of angels.
1. Angels
2. Archangels
3. Seraphim
4. Cherubim
5. Powers
6. Virtues
7. Dominions
8. Carrions
9. Thrones
10. Principalities
Actually, I've found that Saint Thomas Acquinas studied the Book of Enoch and discovered that these angels are mentioned in the Biblical texts; however, Enoch claimed that these angels were sectioned into 3 "triads" that had different duties.
All major religions of the world share the belief in Angels, with all agreeing that they are the messengers from God. Islam was even founded on the belief that the archangel Gabriel came to Muhhomad, and told him the message from God. Christinaity shares the belief that angels have visited mankind since the beginning of creation, when God had sent His angels to escort Adam & Eve out of the Garden of Eden. Which I think we all pretty much agree is an anology.

I am amazed on the different phylums. I always thought (until of couse Sylvia came around) that all angels we just angels and ALL of them are there when we need them..
I really like the cherub..They just remind me of innocent little babies watching over all of the children...

Re: Weekly Discussion: Book of Angels
Its hard for me to truley understand the unconditional love of angels. Sylvia says that there is a circle of billions of angels, all holding hands, forming a ring around this planet.
How loving could they be to always be there for us? How loving could they be, to always be there for us without a question, and a split seconds notice.
Sometimes i feel that i owe the angels something, and i always try to appreciate them, because i know they are around me.

Re: Weekly Discussion: Book of Angels
I know what you mean. It's hard to grasp the concept of true, pure unconditional love to the degree of Father/Mother God and the angels. I know that we experience unconditional love here while incarnate, but how often to we question that love? I mean, sure we love our parents unconditionally regardless of what type of people they may or may not be, as well as our significant others, but all too often, we love people with all of our hearts, and yet can't stand to be around them. It's hard to fully comprehend that there are entities that completely abide by the truest meaning of the term "Unconditional Love." Especially when so many of the people that they love, don't even acknowledge their existence. Which is sorta depressing when you think about it.
I know that we never become angels, or vice-versa, but I often wonder if our perfection leads us to the same understanding and perfection as the angels. Allowing us to fully understand, comprehend, and live by unconditionally loving everyone.
Actually, one of my favorite scriptures about angels is:
For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Psalms 91:11-12)
And one that I often remind myself of, whenever I'm feeling overwhelmed in any situation, when Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane:
Father, if Thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless, not my will, but Thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. (Luke 22:42-43)
These scriptures only prove that the unconditional love from our Parents and angels is mind-boggling! I know that I'm not alone when I say that there are people I would give my life for, because I love them that much, but how many can you say would do that for you...?

Re: Weekly Discussion: Book of Angels
I think the only ones I had not heard of were Carrions and they are cool. They can and do remove evil from around you. Funny thing is you may not be able to see them but the effects are the same. that goes for any angel. Had an experience of that once called on St Michael and the evil was taken away back in 1991. It was a weird thing a darkness came into a room where I was and the light of a lamp was on in the room then a darkness came in and cut off the light and came over me so I couldn't feel my own body nor my hand making a tight fist around a third class relic of Padre Pio's which I still have still wrinkled from when I held on in fear I prayed as hard as I could to Padre Pio. Padre Pio didn't get it off me.Then to St Michael Archangel St Michael didn't appear but all of a sudden the darkness was gone, I was myself the light of the lamp was still on as before and I was ever so thankful! while I thought about ti this A.M. writing this a light went off "it was Carrions" sent in to remove that darkness which had entered this room and envolped me.. WOW
